So that postal limbo has left me out of sorts with my orders. I’m working on a lot of babies, but right now in no particular order. It’s what I’ve had as I’ve had it. And every baby is still in an unfinished state as of ‘week’s end’ – which NEVER happens. Or, rather, hasn’t happened in the past few months. π¦ First thing this week, I had zero custom order babies to work on. By the end of the week, I have four & tomorrow I’ll FINALLY have the four I’ve been expecting the longest. And then I’ll be buried in babies… But busy is always good – in my book. Workaholic-ism is sorta my thang. π
So the week in review:

Finally started on my Fern by Toby Morgan. Emphasis on the MY here. She’s a keeper. I was pretty certain as soon as I ordered her. I will not part with this baby. And she’s on the shelf now til further notice. So lots of time to stew over what to do about her hair.

My custom order baby Freya (II) by Tina Kewy. Another baby boy, to be named Jack Russell. Isn’t he amazing. Started on his barely there hair tonight. It’s perfect for him!!
And speaking of hair… when I had nothing better to do, I drug out Kameko. Remember him? Tyson Maddox. Root in progress no more. This boy is a combi. I repainted him too. Cuz I’m neurotic like that & I make more work for myself when I should have been sleeping…

And Lane! This baby Lane by Sandra White, is finally getting colour too! After doing three Leah’s in a row, it was time. Totally a girl, right? Getting barely there hair too. Should have her up in the shop early next week. She’ll be $299 if interested! π

Oh & Lilian arrived! I was so so sooooo excited to get her. I’ve really only fleshed, veined & undertoned her. But she’s so beautiful, right? Another custom baby in progress. She’ll be a full root too! π

And rooting… that Lulu by Jen Printy got yet another pair of eyes. Still possibly just temporary. & I started on her combi hair. Yes, I’ve painted a TON of heads this week! LOL!Β This is still really, really basic, but I love the start of it. It’s going to be super pretty on her!

Oh & Raleigh by Marita Winters. She arrived late last night & I started on her straight away! Playing catch-up. Love this baby so much. Mostly finished creasing her already! π

& lastly (cuz you know, this is turning out to be the longest Artful Friday ever!) Ruby by Natali Blick. She’s such a tiny peanut, at 16 inches. But I adore her. Started on her creases too. And so far she doesn’t have eyes. So behold, creepy eyeless head pic! π

Should I also mention Meekly came down with flu part deux and spent most of Wednesday & Thursday with a feverish, coughing, vomiting baby in my arms? She’s finally on the mend, and walk-in swears it’s not pneumonia (I’m a bit neurotic too, btw). May next week bring finished babies & healthy kidlets!! π Emphasis on the healthy kidlets! π
