Carson is 20 inches, 5lbs 1oz, and from the “Sam” sculpt by Marissa May.

I gave him straight, light brown hair, meticulously rooted. It can be styled swept to the side, long in front, or spiked into a mohawk. The rest of his hair is wispy, baby fine, and just like a newborn’s head of hair. I modeled it on my son’s own mop. His eyelashes are a combination of blond and medium brown and have been microrooted. He also has the faintest of millia on his button nose, and barely there umber brown eyebrows (painted and sealed). His body has been painted with great attention to detail, using genesis heat set paint & sealed with matte varnish to prevent shining. He has a newborn mottle with subtle, well blended capillaries and veining. Shine has been added to the corners of his eyes and lips for an authentic newborn look.

His body is doe suede and string tied. I tie them around back so you can’t see when he’s nude. I also left the strings long so you can adjust to your own liking. His limbs and head have been sealed and weighted using glass beads and polyfil (no sand) and his body is weighted using poly pellets and polyfil. His hair and lashes have been double sealed so you can style his hair as many times as you like. He also comes with a complimentary belly plate, ending just below his navel, so it tucks into his diaper. It was a seconds purchase because of the missing equipment, but matches his tone exactly. The plate is a Donna Rupert. His skin is super soft, just like a newborn!

Carson comes with everything pictured & then some. He wears newborn & 0-3 mos clothing well. He comes with a newborn sized gray Carter’s layette (pants & cardigan), a Joe Fresh 0-3 mos onesie that reads “This is my good side”, a Joe Fresh “Beach Dreams” footed sleeper – also 0-3 mos. A magnetic pacifier (let me know if you’d prefer a modified one instead of magnets, he easily takes modified pacifiers thanks to his open mouth). A cotton hat. A custom knit koala bear hat. A hospital blanket & hospital bracelet (customized to whatever name you choose for him). He also comes with a birth certificate and certificate of authenticity, signed and dated by the artist, a care sheet, and a complementary bottle of mohair conditioner to keep his mop shiny and soft!

Carson is my first “reborn” though I’m no stranger to the arts. I’m also a custom portrait artist full time, and classically trained with a watercolor artist in my youth. I also love sculpture. This medium seemed the perfect fusion, and I’ve been hooked since. I draw inspiration from many of the talented reborn artists out there, Melissa George and Nikki Holland, to name a few. I can’t get enough of Carson’s face & I hope you love him as much as I do. I have already started on two other littles, I hope to release very soon – and hoping to have a long career reborning.

I post within one working day of cleared payment. I accept Paypal within two days following the end of the auction. Item will be tracked, insured and will require a signature.

I’ve loved creating this little guy, and I hope you love him just as much as I do. Please contact me with any other questions you might have. : )
Lots of love,
