Finished rooting my first Lilian Legler, a custom baby girl! Can’t wait for this glue to dry so I can do her photoshoot! SOOOO excited! XD

Inspiration Thursday

The perfect milia! I am obsessed with milia. I actually think watching Silvia do milia on Franklin is what hooked me! One minute I was intrigued. The next enthralled. Then I was negative nearly $1000 in set up costs, with 5 sculpts en route to me, desperately dreaming about painting milia on a baby nose!

This one! Oh! Totally missed out on snagging a Karlotta too! 😛

And Melissa does the very best milia. It looks just like texturing. I WOULD KILL to know how she achieves this look!

Introducing Tyson Maddox | Reborn Baby Boy

** DETAILS **
Tyson has been meticulously painted using Genesis Heat Set paints – custom mixed for a completely unique skin tone, complete with blue and yellow undertones, a three tone mottle for ultra realism. Capillaries and blushing is blended well with tiny milia on his button nose. His eyes are premium glass eyes, in a hazel, brown hue.

His skin has been sealed with matte varnish to keep him shine free permanently. Shine has been added to the corners of his eyes, lips and nostrils. And dewy skin texture added to his forehead, cheeks and and nose. Tyson’s hair is full combi, a combination of ultra realistically painted hair & micro rooted slumberland mohair. His hair will always look and feel perfect! His hair can be washed, brushed & styled.

Tyson’s body is doe suede. He has three quarter limbs. His limbs and head have been sealed and weighted. His body weighted in all the right places to give him an authentic newborn feel (perfect for cuddles). Limbs have been filled with glass beads and polyfil, with glass beads in a sealed sac in his torso (so nothing will leak) & glass beads in his head. No sand is in his body so she can travel worldwide!

** GOING HOME **
Tyson goes home with the cutest Owl layette! A little night owl fleece outfit with onesie, pants, and star hoodie, a fleece Whoo Loves Me sleeper with rattle toy. He also comes with an adorable brown hat and moose slippers. He also goes home with a pair of socks, receiving blanket. & magnetized pacifier. He’ll come with a birth certificate, receiving blanket & five disposable diapers. I’m happy to change his name too, upon request! : )

Everything pictured with him, goes home with him! Everything he comes with is brand new and was chosen to compliment his gorgeous coloring & eyes – yellows, creams, and brown. He wears newborn and 0-3 mos sized clothes!

He’ll also comes home with a care sheet of instructions, on how to best look after your collectible baby.

Tyson is the Kameko sculpt by Tasha Edenholm and comes signed and dated with a certificate of authenticity by the reborn artist, Shaylen Maxwell. All birth certificate details can be customized and changed. I’m happy to make her a him too, upon request as he isn’t anatomically correct! This is EXACTLY what I want to achieve when I paint my Julien by Elisa Marx. The hands. OMG the hands. The colouring on the top of the head. So fresh. And the painted hair – good grief that is amazing painted hair! The longer I paint hair, the harder I get on myself. And the more I start thinking I’m regressing in my own abilities! (LOL – I totally need to chill out!) but this baby – agh, perfection!!! I could fawn over these pics all day – & I totally have!! 😉

Artful Friday | Week in Review

Baby Grayson (Daisy Brown) had his photoshoot & headed home this week! So happy! A full post on this special memorial portrait baby coming soon! ❤

Baby Valentina (Legler) also went home this week after her shoot! 😀

Finished rooting custom Amber (III) Moulton. Her hair is still drying! 😀

Ruby Blick got her mottle on. Brows done. And I’m now 1/4 of the way through her micro rooted head. She is beaaaautiful! Can’t wait to reveal more pics of her next week! 😀

And Raleigh, a future painted hair baby, also got her mottle on. She’s all ready for hair & I started the first of her wispies this evening!

And lastly, LILIAN LEGLER!!! AGH! I’m working on her! Yes, one of the two I scored during that earlier blogged-about pre-sale madness! She’s a custom full root baby too! She’s next on the rooting schedule. I’m averaging about 3-4 days to finish a head, of the late. I cannot BELIEVE I used to feel like rooting was my Everest. These days, Everest has turned into a chair lift up a very large mountain, yes. But relatively speaking… (She types, praying to the God’s of flexibility that her shoulder doesn’t lock up on her & change her tune! LOL!)
